What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a non-surgical treatment that uses micro-injections of a potent skin rejuvenating cocktail of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids into the mesodermal layer of the skin. When this cocktail is injected it promotes the production of collagen and elastin, all while stimulating the skin’s metabolism.
This can be undertaken manually or with an advanced delivery system meso-gun. The process involves using a very fine needle to thousands of times at a rapid rate that makes this a generally painless treatment, although a numbing cream can be used to manage discomfort if needed.
Patients can return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Some swelling and bruising may occur at the injection site; these side effects tend to dissipate within the first week after treatment.
Mesotherapy can be used as a complement to other skincare treatments, including chemical peels, anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
